Hey, there - just a quick plug today, for my pal Deb’s mini-sock club that she’s just unveiled!

(ed. note — it’s not a club for mini-socks, it’s a mini-club for full-size socks.)

It’s a set of three different sock yarn + original pattern combos, with the second pattern being designed by Yours Truly.  Deb is doing the first pattern, and Anne Hanson of Knitspot is doing the third, so I’m in great company!

(BTW, I’ve seen Deb’s sock pattern already and I really like it!  I’ve got my chosen yarn sitting in my studio, but I’m still mulling over ideas for just what to do with it.)

I’ve designed a couple of other socks in Deb’s yarns before, and they are truly wonderful to knit with.  Visit her blog to read more about her products, and what her fans think of them:  and yes, she’s got a fan club on Ravelry, too!

I particularly like the way her color schemes are a little less less bright than some of ‘em out there, and thus more wearable, to my thinking.  At least here in the Northwest, bright "clown barf" colorways don’t always cut it.  (I know, I know – in Miami, Phoenix, or Dallas, both the general lighting and general tastes are different.  Well, we live here.)

Also, if you’re as picky about your colors as you can tell I am — one of the very cool things about Deb’s club is, you get YOUR CHOICE of two special colorways for each shipment.  OR, you can even take your pick of one of her standard colorways, iffen you don’t like the special ones.  I can’t imagine why you wouldn’t — but with all those choices, there’s no excuse for not liking what shows up in the mail!
