I’ve spent all afternoon mapping out the next 6 months’ worth of Friday Group Class Tutorials.  And wow, that took a lot out of me.

So go take a look — one of the more exciting things we’re going to try is that I’ll be starting a "Sweater Series" of tutorials, which will be a knitalong kind of thing.

Participants will make a V-neck, top-down, raglan-sleeve pullover, with optional bust darts and side shaping.  And due to popular demand of our fashionable core group of "regulars", we will be emphasizing achieving correct and flattering fit.

If you’ve wanted to try making a sweater, but thought you might need some expert guidance along the way, now’s your chance!  At $10 per session, or 4 sessions for $35, it’s a bargain way to get expert help on your knitting, as well as meet some interesting lovely other knitters.

If you’d like to join the group for the knitalong, please send me an email and RSVP, so I can make sure I don’t have a stampede at the door on 10/17/08.  First come, first served, as always.

Also, I’m going to try increasing the maximum class size to 8 people, since by now the "regulars" don’t need quite as much help on a weekly basis anymore…  (Sniff!  Sniff!  I’m so proud of you!)

Even so, if we end up with too many desperate knitters people who need help on any given day, I am sure that some of the "regulars" who are just there to gab socialize will be kicked out will move over and make room, I promise.

So, drop in at the Farmhouse on a Friday and have some knitting fun with us!
