What happened?  I'll tell you what happened.  I got fed up with things being all wonky, that's what happened.

Well, to tell you the truth, I've been fed up with that for a while — but this time I got fed up enough to actually, finally, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.

So I went and found a new WordPress theme that, wonder of wonders, WORKS PROPERLY.  And it doesn't look half bad, either, more-or-less right out of the box.

In fact — I happen to think it looks rather, well, sassy.  Although I do believe it could use a little more green, and a little less blue.  So I'll probably be continuing to tweak some of these relatively minor things in weeks to come.

Everything is still here, I think.  It just looks a little different.

OK, maybe a lot different.  But nicer, I hope you'll agree.

Probably the biggest change is, it's a lot easier to leave a comment — for those of you who managed to do it before, well, I salute your ability to persevere in the face of many obstacles.  For those of you who didn't, well, who could blame you?  But no excuses any more!

So take this out for a test drive, and please let me know what you think of the new look!

ETA:  Maybe you can comment about how much you like the new favicon?  See that pink square up there on your broswer tab, with the white stitch?  Pretty cool, huh?  (DH says it looks like the letter "omega", but we know better, don't we?)
