I’ve just posted a new schedule for the Friday Group Classes, so if you’re involved in that, please take a look here.
I checked all the near-term vacation dates that have been sent to me, and the only date in the near future when everyone will be around is 3/20 — so that’s the day we will look at finishing on our V-neck sweaters. I am sorry it’s kind of far out, but that’s the way the ball bounces. (Blame your fellow knitters, not me… my vacation was on the schedule!)
There are still a few things I want to try out before I write up the material for this section, anyway — so think of it as insurance that you’ll be getting the very best info I can deliver.
Also, if you have any crazy ideas about anything other than a fairly standard ribbed trim, now is the time to bring it to my attention. We are all aware that my first stab at my polo-style collar didn’t turn out so hot…
And finally, there has been talk of starting another Sweater Knit-Along, but again due to the vacation dates of which I’m aware, we probably won’t get that started until May. For now I have not included it on the new schedule — I’ll redo the schedule again if/when we get to that point. This one is likely to be a crew-neck cardigan, again with raglan-style sleeves — potentially from the bottom-up this time.
So be thinking about what you’d like yours to look like, and more importantly, what measurements you want it to be!
Happy Knitting!
